Rain and winds being felt across the eastern half of the state are from the outer bands of Tropical Storm Hanna, WRAL Chief Meteorologist Greg Fishel said. "The first really good band" had moved through Wilmington by early afternoon, and showers showed up as far west as Greensboro.... read more
