Open Question: does anyone know what song this is from ? please help?

I was watching a tv show, and a song came on towards the end of the show and I really want to know what the song is. I dont have all of they lyrics but in the song it def. says "Fate always loses hold like electric sparks in my heart" "I'd always hoped that i'd learn how to fly" "If you tell me to jump then I'll die" Those are correct i rewinded the dvr and went through it again to make sure.
